The short film below, 2 OF US, was born in April 2020 at the height of the pandemic, when my dance partner Abdiel Jacobsen and I wanted to find a way to create a way to dance "together" but were stuck on opposite coasts due to CoVid.
It won BEST CONCEPT AWARD in the Buddha International Film Festival 2020 and was also an official selection of both the First-Time Filmmaker Sessions 2021 and the Third Coast Dance Film Festival 2020.
LULLABY WALTZ was made in response to us being asked to contribute a piece to Manhattan Chamber Music, run by Lucie Gelinas whose introduction occurred in 2019 when performing at Carnegie Hall. Its website celebrates classical composers and it was an honor to be a part of Johannes Brahms' online birthday celebration on May 7th, 2020.
These videos are to INSPIRE, BRING JOY, SPREAD LOVE and put a smile on as many faces as possible.
