Kristine resides in New York City where she has been met with great success as a dancer, master instructor, choreographer AND... published children's book author & illustrator.
She and her ballroom partner Abdiel Jacobsen just became AMERICA’s FIRST... professional male female ballroom couple to compete in the Dancesport ballroom as a GENDER NEUTRAL COUPLE dancing equal exchange of lead and follow roles within all 5 American Rhythm dances.
They have performed at CARNEGIE HALL for the annual Link Up Orchestra Moves concert series in May. They also performed and taught at DISCO AMERICA (in which they competed and won 1ST PLACE in the PRO-CABARET division), the inaugural LA HUSTLE CONGRESS and the CANADA SALSA & BACHATA CONGRESS.
Kristine Bendul began her career as a classically trained ballerina who ended up in NYC with thirteen Broadway production credits. She kept her connection with dance companies and danced as principal for Ron De Jesus Dance, American Dance Machine and MStuart Dance Theatre.
As a director/choreographer Kristine has created works for Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, Dancers For Good, Camp Broadway, immersive theater, showcase, music video and a short film last year which was received honorable mention in several film festivals.
Her teaching resume is as extensive as her career ranging from Guest Teaching Artist at the University of Michigan for their musical theater program, partnering class at Broadway Dance Center, hustle at Gibney Dance, musical theater dance at American Ballet Theater, ballroom on Disney cruise line to other universities including Elon and Santa Clara.
